Bruce Thummel (鈥�06) is the HVAC technician serving Olin Hall. He knows the ins and outs of Olin鈥檚 heating and cooling systems better than anyone. And one of the cooling system鈥檚 鈥渙uts鈥� has always bothered him: namely, the thousands of gallons of water it poured down the drain all summer long.

About 340 under亚色影库s are expected to walk across the stage and receive their Nebraska Wesleyan University diplomas on Saturday, May 17.

For most of those 亚色影库s, it was a four-year journey. For one member of the Class of 2014, it took a bit longer 鈥� 81 years longer.

The country鈥檚 oldest local sorority is celebrating a milestone.

On April 26-27, current and former Willard Sorority members will celebrate the Greek organization鈥檚 125th anniversary, just one year after Nebraska Wesleyan University celebrated the same milestone.

Nancy Newman, director of Student Health Services, has been named one of the state's "best nurses."

At the April 14 campus staff meeting, representatives from the Lincoln Journal Star stopped by and surprised Newman with an announcement that she was named one of the best in the newspaper's annual "Best Nurses in Nebraska" contest.
