The fall semester at Nebraska Wesleyan University officially began Monday, August 26. But first year students in Karla Jensen鈥檚 liberal arts seminar, 鈥淭he Liberal Arts of Yoga,鈥� started their academic year early learning the historical, psychological, economical, and political aspects of yoga.

They started on Sunday, August 18 with a class on basic breathing techniques.

A first-year biology student has been selected as a Fulbright summer institute participant.

Nebraska Wesleyan University has announced its Academic Honors List for the fall semester of the 2012-2013 academic year.

A student must have a minimum grade point average of 3.75 (on a 4.00 scale) for 12 or more hours of coursework to qualify for the list.

Chances are good the names 鈥淓dgar Sheffield Brightman鈥� and 鈥淟. Harold DeWolf鈥� mean very little to you.

But the names of these two Nebraska Wesleyan men meant a tremendous amount to one person whose name means as much to America鈥檚 history as any in the last 150 years: Martin Luther King, Jr.
